Woodlands Park

There are four practice athletic fields located at Woodlands Park. Three of the four are lined up together on the east side of Big View as you approach the parking lot for the park. These three are pictured above in the top two and the bottom left pictures.

The fourth field is located on the west side of Big View across from the others. You may not be able to see this field from the street as there are bushes along that stretch of road. The fourth field is pictured in the bottom right picture above.

The fishing hole at Woodlands Park is tucked away along the creek on the Northeast side of the trail. There are two park benches to use. There is also a sign that gives great information on some of the wildlife you may see.

The Woodlands Park Pavilion is located by the parking lot. The pavilion is available on a first come, first serve basis unless a reservation has been made. The pavilion has:

• Eight picnic tables
• Fans to keep the area cool
• Water Fountains

The monthly reservation calendar is posted in the pavilion at the beginning of the month with all upcoming reservations as of the first day of the month. Didn't book a pavilion in time? Woodlands Park has plenty of picnic tables and grills throughout the park that are perfect for your small party. All picnic tables are first come first serve, so be sure to get there early to  grab your favorite!
