We hope you stay safe during these upcoming freeze. Waste Connections is diligently tracking weather conditions, and we want to inform you that there may be delays or disruptions to our service schedule early next week. Our team will make every effort to minimize any impact on your service.

Safety is of the upmost importance to our team, and we want to ensure that we don’t put our employees as well as our communities at risk by operating under adverse weather conditions.

We appreciate your understanding and patience during this time. Should there be any significant changes or updates to your scheduled service, we will notify you promptly. Here are the operating schedules based on the current forecast, though we are hopeful that the weather will clear up and provide us with the ability to render services.

• Monday, January 20th – Service delays; possible closure.
• Tuesday, January 21st - Delayed start to allow roads to clear up and snow/ice to melt.
• Wednesday, January 22nd – Service Tuesday carryovers and current day service.
• Thursday, January 23rd – Service Wednesday carryovers and current day service.
• Friday, January 24th – Service Thursday carryovers and current day service.
• Saturday, January 25th – Catch up day.

This plan is not set in stone. Waste Connection’s strategy team monitors the weather carefully and is prepared to decide ASAP to minimize impact. We will try and decide by 5 pm on Sunday, to provide ample notice.
